Internet Securities Inc supports the following browsers, you will need to upgrade olders browsers to fully experience all our features and tools. Additionally, your browser must be Java & Javascript enabled.

Enter user name in appropriate box. Use mouse or press TAB key to select password box.

In Netscape

                Select “Edit” on windows menu and click on “Preferences”.

                Go to “Navigator” category and select “Home Page” radio button.

The Navigation and Message area

   Once you are on a country home page and you want to switch to another country product (you may need an additional subscription) simply select the country from the drop-down menu.

   Important product related messages are displayed in the area above the navigation bar.

   You can perform searches using the IntelliFind^TM described later.

   The ISI Emerging Markets service offers nine primary categories for all country products. These categories are consistent and also comprise the primary navigation bar and will appear on every page.To access information from any of the categories, simply click on the appropriate tab.

The News page (or the country homepage)

	Latest News / NewsWatch: Access to most important news stories for the day. Headlines are prioritized by our Content Editors and updated several times a day.
	Latest News By Publications: Access to the most important news stories for the day sorted by publications.
	News By Type: Access to the latest news by type of information (Economic, Political...).
	Newswires: Latest news stories from newswires.
	Newspapers: Latest news stories from newspapers.
	Magazines: Latest news stories from magazines.
	News Publications: List of all the news publications available for the country.

You can now add news articles to MyDocuments (MyISI), think of it as your personal clipping service.
MyDocuments can be viewed on your custom MyISI page.

The Company page

	Company Search: Search most of the actively traded and private companies in the country.
	Select Companies by Industry: Quick access to companies by the sectors they are in.
	Listed Companies: View and search the complete list of companies covered.
	Companies by Alphabetical listing: Click on a letter or number to locate a company.
	Company Publications: Click on specific publication to view latest reports published by that publication.
	Latest company analysis: View latest analysis and reports from various sources.
	NewsWatch (Company News): Access important and latest news about companies.

You can now track companies by adding them to MyISI.
Select and add companies to the  “MyCompanies” folder, which can be viewed on your custom MyISI page.

Accessing Financial Statements
Click on "Financial Statements" on a company profile page to access the complete financial statements for that company.

The Industry Page

	Industry Search: Search for a particular industry.
	Search Industry by Sector: Quick access to industries by the sector they are in.
	Search by Industry: Access alphabetical listing of all industries.
	Industry Research: View latest analysis and research reports from various sources.
	Industry News: Access important and latest news about featured industries for each market. Coverage may vary from product to product.
	Industry Publications: Click on specific publication to view latest reports published by that publication.

You can now track industries by adding industries to MyISI.
Select and add an industry to the “MyIndustries” folder, which can be viewed on your custom MyISI page.

Macroeconomic Information

	Actuals: View various actual macroeconomic parameters of the country.
	Consensus Forecast: View various forecast macroeconomic parameters of the country from multiple sources.
	Indicators Definitions: View basic definitions of various indicators.
	Export Table to Excel: Allows you to download the table, data, graphics, etc. into Excel.
	NewsWatch: Latest headlines chosen by our Content Editors covering the economy of the country. Coverage may vary from country to country.
	Macroeconomic Analysis: View latest analysis and research reports from various sources.
	Macroeconomic publications: Click on specific publication to view latest reports published by that publication.

You can now track Publications from this category by adding to MyPublications.
Select and add publications in the “MyPublications” folder which can be viewed on your custom MyISI page.

 Financial Markets Information

	Symbol lookup: View charts and figures of various securities by entering stock market symbols. For more search options click Symbol Lookup link.
	Market Segments: View details of stock quotes.
	Instrument Types: View details of share market indices, common types stocks under this option.
	Market Summary: Quick overview of financial market of the country is available on this page.
	Currency rates: View details of the country's currency rates.
	Market Indices: View up to date market information from key stock markets in the country.
	Financial Markets Analysis: View latest analysis and research reports from various sources.
	Financial Market publications: View latest financial market reports published by key publication from the country.
	Market Calendar: Calendar of market events and special announcements.
	Charts: View stock market charts with 3 months, 1 year and maximum available history.
	NewsWatch: Latest Headlines chosen by our Content Editors covering the financial markets of the country. Coverage may vary from country to country.
	Movers and Shakers: View top gainers and losers of market. Click on Symbols for details.

Research Information

	Get Reports: There are various options that let you access research. Retrieve research reports by choosing report types, selecting a language, selecting a company, and industry or a specific publication. Click on "Clear Selections" for a new search or to reset previous selections.
	Company analysis: View latest company analysis and reports from various sources.
	Industry Research: View latest industry analysis and research reports from various sources.
	Research Publications: Key research publications covering the market. You can add these publications to "MySources" folder which can be viewed on your custom "MyISI" page. Coverage may vary from country to country.
	Research reports: Latest research reports from the best local and global research firms, brokerage houses and analysts. Some reports are in PDF format, you may need to download Adobe Acrobat.

You can now track sources from this category by adding to MySources.
Select and add publications in the “MySources” folder which can be viewed on your custom MyISI page.

The Sources Page

	Publication Search: Search for a specific publication by entering the name or a part of the name.
	Publications by providers: Select providers to view list of publications published by them.
	Publications By Category: Access to publications sorted under various categories such as news agencies, government, academic institutions etc.
	Discontinued and Beta Publications: Click here to access issues that have been discontinued or are in Beta/testing phase.
	Publications from news agencies, research firms, academic institutes, governments etc are listed on this page. By clicking on specific publication, you can view latest from the publication.
	Recently Updated Publications: View the list of the most recently updated publications.

You can now track Publications from this category by adding to MyPublications.

 MyISI - custom access to Companies, Industries, Documents, Searches, Publications, Clippings, Projects and Account

MyISI is a new and powerful way to create your ISI Emerging Markets Portfolio. You will be able to: Add various documents, articles, publications, companies, searches, and industries of your interest to MyISI Emerging Market Services portfolio. View all information added to My ISI on one My ISI page. Remove contents from MyISI. MyISI: Includes MyCompanies, MyIndustries, MyPublications, MySearches, MyDocuments, MyClippings, MyProject and MyAccount. MyPublications: Add your favorite publications to this list for quick access. You can also remove sources from your list and select your viewing options. Search in MyPublications: Search for a specific term/article in your publications.

If you select an item from ISI Emerging Market services and click on the appropriate link, the item will be added to the respective folder in your portfolio.You can view all items added to MyISI on MyISI page. Contents of MyISI will be unchanged unless you remove or add an item.
To remove an item from My ISI, select the item and click remove from link. Items added to My ISI can be stored up to 3 years.

Searching in foreign languages
IntelliFind allows you to search in English and local languages. To select multiple languages hold down the Ctrl-key and select the languages with your mouse button. Should you select languages with conflicting character sets, IntelliFind will ask you to confirm or change your current character set.

Note: IntelliFind configures each local language with its corresponding character set. If you select multiple languages that have conflicting character sets, you will be asked to verify the character set you are using. Each character set corresponds to a language:

      Latin_1 (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German)

     Latin_9 (Turkish)

     cp1250 (Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Romanian, Slovakian, Estonian, Latvian)

       cp1251 (Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian)

     Chinese (Chinese)

Entering search terms in foreign languages
You can enter search terms in foreign languages by:

     Using your keyboard (Your technical department can help you set this up)

     Cutting and pasting text from your browser

     For Latin character sets, you can use the common smashed version of the term(s)

Setting up your browser to display foreign languages

    Netscape Navigator (4.0 and higher)

        Go to the View menu for Netscape

        Select Character Encoding

        Select the relevant encoding for the language you are using

    Microsoft Internet Explorer (4.0 and higher)

        Go to the View menu for Explorer

        Select Encoding

        Select the appropriate encoding for the language you are using

Retrieving PDF articles
IntelliFind is able to retrieve PDF documents. If your query results in some PDF articles, you will see this icon in the results column.

Viewing PDF articles
Any article with the PDF icon next to it, can be viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Because Acrobat Reader is a plug-in, you will not be able to select multiple PDF articles at the same time. You will have to view them one by one.

Refining your search (Logical Operators: AND, OR, NOT, EQUIVALENCE )
